Holy Megapixel Batman! - Inauguration Panorama

Folks, check this out. You won't be disappointed.



The above link is for a genius (and frankly pretty scary) little web tool that let's you browse an enormous panorama, taken during President Obama's inauguration speech. The photo weighs in at almost 1,500 megapixels. Seriously, you can read the sheet music in the orchestra pit...and you can aaaaalmost count W's nosehairs.

You can also browse the teeming masses in the audience, which shockingly (and hilariously) resembles one of those Where's Waldo illustrations kids these days are so fond of.

I have a prize for the best screen capped easter egg in the crowd. Send em' in! My favorite so far is the botched photo patch-up job-turned hilarious photo-op (phew, hyphens!) of Rick Warren wearing an Aretha Frankling Wearing a Hat hat. (see below)
